Our Story
The roots of SC Freiburg North America stretch back to a shared longing for the atmosphere of the Dreisamstadion. Founded by a couple friends living in the USA and Canada, our love for the club is high and wanted to to share that love and find like-minded fans in North America! Our American Co-Chair, V, has a unique history with the club. His great grandfather actually worked at the club in the 1940's!
We recognize that while the distance to our beloved SCF is far, the passion knows no borders!. We wanted to ensure that no fan in the US, Canada, or anywhere else in North American, did not have to watch a match alone or just have no sense of community with fellow fans over here. By formalizing our bond with the club in Germany, we've built a bridge that allows us to support Christian Streich's legacy and the team's unique philosophy from thousands of miles away.
Today, our story continues with every new member who joins our ranks. From early morning kick-offs in California to late-night chats in New York, we are united by the red and white. We don't just follow a football team; we carry forward a culture of community, resilience, and unyielding support that defines SC Freiburg, making it a vibrant reality here in North America.
